"We oppose the proposed
development of a solid waste/composting facility in the
Sunol area. This noisy, smelly and polluting facility will
have significant, adverse and unmitigatable impacts on
neighboring residences and property owners and the
environment. It is a fundamentally incompatible land use. As
a matter of sensible planning, ACWMA should co-locate its
composting operations at the existing Altamont Landfill (WMAC)
