RULE 1133 -- COMPOSTING AND
RELATED OPERATIONS – GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS (Adopted
January 10, 2003)
This rule sets forth administrative requirements for existing and new
chipping and grinding activities and composting operations. The purpose
of this rule is to create an emissions-related informational database on
composting and related operations through a registration process.
RULE 1133.1 -- CHIPPING AND
GRINDING ACTIVITIES (Adopted January 10, 2003)
The purpose of this rule is to prevent
inadvertent decomposition occurring during chipping and grinding
activities.
RULE 1133.2 -- EMISSION
REDUCTIONS FROM CO-COMPOSTING OPERATIONS (Adopted January 10, 2003)
The purpose of this rule is to reduce volatile organic compounds (VOC)
and ammonia (NH3) emissions from co-composting operations.
